Position : Sharepoint Administrator/Developer

Location: Windsor, CT

Type: Both  Fulltime/Contract

 

Job Description:

 

Role: Technical Lead/Developer (SharePoint)

  • Requirements Analysis and Technical design
  • Core development
  • Unit and integration testing

Required Skills:

  • 6-8 years of total experience with at least 4+ years of demonstrated experience using design constructs and programming on SharePoint Platform. SharePoint 2010 experience is a MUST.
  • 4+ years of development experience using Microsoft .NET technologies
  • Ability to conduct independent research on technical requirements, understand existing data structures and create mapping documents and designs for porting to a new platform
  • SQL Server programming and performance tuning. Hands-on experience reverse engineering, writing, and enhancing stored procedures.
  • Prior project experience of migrating from an existing platform to SharePoint will be an added plus
  • Deep understanding of document management tools and SQLserver platforms such as Documentum, SQLServer, and Oracle
  • Ability to document detailed technical designs and mentor developers
  • Hands-on experience using and manipulating complex XML documents, 
  • Leadership and analytical skills

Nice to have skills:

  • Good familiarity with the use of Microsoft SDK/APIs for Word, Visio, and Excel documents
