As a contract analyst, your job is to review business contracts to make sure that the terms are clear and equitable. Your duties include negotiating terms on your company’s behalf with the other party, analyzing each clause to understand the legal implications, drafting contracts, and presenting contractual agreements to management for approval. The qualifications for a career as a contract analyst are a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field and experience working with contracts. Some employers may require a law degree with a focus in contract law.

What are some common challenges faced by contract analysts when reviewing and negotiating contracts?

What degree do you need to be a contract analyst?

A contract analyst typically needs at least a bachelor's degree in fields such as business, finance, law, or a related discipline.
