Job description

AHS Staffing is seeking a local contract Clinic Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Lisle, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

Full time Occupational Therapist is invited to join a great private school in the vicinity of Lisle, IL. New grads encouraged to apply!
Here are the details:

  • Caseload - 4 classrooms (approximately 25 students)
  • Middle school aged students with Autism
  • All have autism; caseload has a wide variety of sensory, social/emotional, functional and academic needs and abilities
  • 8am-3:45pm (with the ability to leave at 330pm most days) during the school year
  • All staff work ESY 8am -1:15pm for 6 weeks in the summer and have 2-3 weeks off in June and 2 weeks off in August.
  • 9 weeks off + PTO ( includes:  1 week for Thanksgiving, 2 weeks for Winter Break, 1 week for Spring Break)
  • Highly collaborative team based environment
  • Many of our students have higher maladaptive behaviors so someone who is comfortable and willing to work with student's with higher needs
  • $70000-$85000/year


* New staff training starts August 12th and students start on August 18th
* Team based environment
* Other Occupational Therapists are on staff to offer support and mentorship; there are weekly meetings with the department lead and weekly supervision time with direct supervisor, too
