  • Lead kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and cross-functional improvement projects
  • Champion the deployment and administration of Dozuki software for digital work instructions, SOPs, and knowledge management across the manufacturing floor
  • Track and report CI KPIs including OEE, cycle time reduction, scrap rates, and cost savings
  • Build and mentor a team of CI engineers and coordinators; develop CI competency at all levels of the organization
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities

Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE)

  • Develop, manage, and continuously improve the facility's HSE management system in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action programs to drive toward zero-harm performance
  • Oversee environmental compliance programs including waste management, air permitting, and hazardous materials handling
  • Design and deliver HSE training programs; ensure completion and effectiveness across all shifts and roles
  • Chair the facility Safety Committee and serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies during audits and inspections
  • Maintain accurate HSE records, metrics, and required regulatory reporting

  • Balances long-term strategic vision for operational excellence with pragmatic, hands-on execution — translating Neptune’s commitment to innovation into practical improvements on the manufacturing floor (Be a Passionate Solver)
  • Builds consensus across diverse stakeholders including production supervisors, operators, maintenance teams, and senior leadership — creating shared ownership of CI and HSE outcomes at every level
  • Operates with high ownership and accountability — setting department goals, managing budgets, reporting progress to executive leadership, and bringing clarity to ambiguous situations across functional boundaries
  • Develops succession plans and growth paths for direct reports — investing in team capability at all levels consistent with Neptune’s commitment to developing people and fostering a diverse, inclusive ONE Neptune workforce (Win Together)
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with a significant focus on CI and/or HSE leadership
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Dozuki software for work instruction creation, deployment, and management
  • Proven track record leading Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies in a manufacturing environment
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and HSE best practices
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights and business cases
  • Excellent communication skills — able to present clearly to the production floor and to executive leadership
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial & Systems Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent HSE credential
