What is continuous integration?

A Continuous Integration (CI) job is an automated process that builds, tests, and integrates code changes into a shared repository. It helps detect errors early by running tests and validations whenever new code is committed. CI jobs are typically managed by CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
