Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the operation and inspections of forklift and loading dock related equipment.
  • Responsible to perform and document completion of assigned Master Sanitation Schedule(MSS) tasks.
  • Comply to company's Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
  • Know and understand finished product names and characteristics.
  • Clean, organize, and maintain work areas.
  • Constructively communicate with coworkers, customers, vendors, contractors, and truck drivers.  
  • Perform tasks in a safe manner that will prevent injury to self and others.
  • Performs other related duties assigned by supervision, management, and lead Persons.
  • Performs work in a cooperative, courteous, and efficient manner
  • Complete daily reconciliation of process orders.
  • Must understand and abide by Hutchinson Union Contract and Employee Production Handbook.


Required Qualifications

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
  • Able to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to operate machinery
  • Experience operating a forklift and/or warehousing experience
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in production related work.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in production related work
  • Mechanical background
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Software with an emphasis on Excel and Word
