Restoration Estimator (Water, Fire, Mold, and Contents) – Chesapeake, VA

We’re hiring an experienced Estimator. Estimating water, fire, mold, and contents restoration projects. If you have restoration estimating experience and know Xactimate, we want to talk to you. Symbility / Claims Connect experience is a plus.


What You’ll Do

  • Inspect residential & commercial losses (water, fire, mold)
  • Create accurate, profitable estimates using Xactimate and Cotality Estimate
  • Prepare clear written proposals & secure customer approvals
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for pricing & bids
  • Communicate with homeowners & insurance adjusters to build trust
  • Maintain complete, organized project files
  • Help close jobs & drive profitability for our team


What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of restoration estimating experience (water/fire/mold/contents)
  • Proficiency with Xactimate / Xactware required
  • Experience with Symbility / Claims Connect / Cotality Estimate is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license & ability to travel locally
  • Strong communication skills — able to explain scope & costs clearly
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects on tight deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent (IICRC certifications a plus)
