Position Description
US FUSION & Specialty Construction
Job Summary: A US RUBBER Project Manager is an energetic self-starter with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing awarded projects from initiation through completion. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, field teams, and internal departments, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution:
  1. Manage awarded projects including scheduling, material procurement, subcontractors, and field coordination.
  2. Serve as the point of contact on assigned projects between US RUBBER and Clients.
  3. Coordinate with estimating, operations, accounting, and safety teams to ensure successful project execution
  4. Understand all factors relating to estimates to ensure profitability is factored into information/estimates provided to customers.
  5. Support project handoff to field teams and maintain accurate project files and documentation.
  6. Work with operations personnel for resource allocation as project manpower fluctuates and projects complete.
  7. Review and prepare reports for both internal and external distribution.
  8. Establish and maintain project budgets, job cost tracking, and forecast reporting.
  9. Monitor project progress, productivity, and costs to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
  10. Manage change orders, extra work, and contract documentation.

Coordination & Continuous Improvement:
  1. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment across all phases of work.
  2. Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  3. Utilize market conditions, resource availability, and workload forecasting to support planning efforts.
  4. Responsible for facilitating project closeout and lessons-learned reviews to improve future performance

Position Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within heavy industrial construction.
  3. Experience managing Rubber Lining, Industrial Coatings or other soft craft projects a plus.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with scheduling and estimating software is a plus (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD).
  5. Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and project scheduling.
  6. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Valid Driver's License
  9. Current TWIC & OSHA Card
