Location: On-site, Montreal 
The Opportunity
Valnet is seeking a Brand Operator to own the commercial, financial, and operational
performance of our Travel brands. This role blends strategic P&L ownership with
hands-on execution across revenue, content, audience growth, and product monetization. You
will act as the central operator for the Travel brands, driving profitability, scaling commerce
initiatives, and evolving the business from a single-site model into a diversified, multi-surface
ecosystem.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and
optimization.
Key Responsibilities
P&L & Commercial Ownership
  • Support full P&L performance at the EBITDA level, identifying opportunities for revenue
  • growth and cost optimization.
  • Manage and scale commerce, affiliate, newsletter, sponsorship, and emerging revenue
  • streams.
  • Develop and expand repeatable business offerings such as commerce hubs,
  • newsletters, evergreen content products, and landing-page funnels.
Revenue & Growth Strategy
  • Identify, launch, and manage direct affiliate partnerships to drive high-intent traffic, leads,
  • and conversions.
  • Build and optimize high-intent funnels across sites, newsletters, landing pages, and
  • utility experiences.
  • Partner with performance marketing and sales teams to maximize RPM, CVR, retention,
  • and lifetime value.
  • Integrate commerce and sponsorship placements while maintaining audience trust and editorial integrity.
Content, Product & Audience Development
  • Collaborate with editorial leaders to align content strategy with user intent, conversion
  • performance, and growth priorities.
  • Define scalable content and commerce formats that reduce decision friction and improve
  • monetization.
  • Lead the transition from a single-site model to a multi-product, multi-surface brand
  • ecosystem.
  • Oversee newsletter programming, segmentation, growth loops, and optimization.
Operational Excellence & Analysis
  • Allocate budgets strategically to support growth initiatives and long-term profitability.
  • Monitor KPIs across revenue, traffic, engagement, and conversion; provide clear
  • reporting and actionable insights.
  • Ensure tracking accuracy, link integrity, and performance visibility across templates and
  • products.
  • Continuously improve processes, workflows, and execution speed across teams.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Act as the primary operator and strategic lead for assigned brand(s).
  • Work cross-functionally with Editorial, Product, Sales, Performance Marketing, and
  • Leadership.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and performance.
AI & Automation
  • Use AI tools fluently to automate reporting and analysis
  • Build lightweight agents/workflows to increase analytical velocity
  • Continuously improve decision speed and insight generation

Qualifications
  • 1–5 years of experience in digital publishing, e-commerce, portfolio management, performance marketing, strategy, or operations.
  • Proven experience owning revenue initiatives and driving measurable growth.

Valnet est à la recherche d’un(e) chef de marque pour assurer la performance commerciale, financière et opérationnelle d’une ou plusieurs marques numériques. Ce rôle combine une responsabilité du P&L avec une exécution concrète des stratégies de croissance, de monétisation et d’optimisation des opérations. Vous agirez comme responsable principal de votre portefeuille de marques, avec pour mission de maximiser la rentabilité, de développer les initiatives commerciales et de faire évoluer les marques vers un modèle multi-produits et multi-plateformes.


Responsabilités

Gestion du P&L et performance commerciale

  • Soutenir la responsabilité complète du P&L au niveau EBITDA, en identifiant les leviers de croissance des revenus et d’optimisation des coûts.
  • Développer, gérer et faire croître les revenus issus de l’affiliation, du commerce, des infolettres, des commandites et de nouvelles initiatives de monétisation.
  • Lancer et faire évoluer des offres commerciales répétables (hubs de commerce, infolettres, franchises saisonnières, produits de contenu evergreen, entonnoirs deconversion).

Stratégie de croissance et revenus

  • Identifier, négocier et gérer des partenariats d’affiliation directs générant du trafic à forte intention et des conversions.
  • Concevoir et optimiser des entonnoirs de conversion à travers les sites, infolettres, pages d’atterrissage et produits utilitaires.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes marketing de performance et ventes afin d’optimiser le RPM, le taux de conversion, la rétention et la valeur à long terme.
  • Intégrer les initiatives commerciales et commanditées tout en préservant la confiance de l’audience et l’intégrité éditoriale.

Contenu, produit et développement de l’audience

  • Travailler en collaboration avec les équipes éditoriales pour aligner les stratégies de contenu avec l’intention utilisateur et les objectifs de performance.
  • Définir des formats de contenu et de commerce évolutifs visant à réduire la friction décisionnelle et améliorer la conversion.
  • Piloter la transition d’un modèle mono-site vers un écosystème multi-produits et multi-surfaces.
  • Superviser la programmation, la segmentation, la croissance et l’optimisation des infolettres.

Analyse, opérations et optimisation

  • Allouer stratégiquement les budgets afin de soutenir les initiatives de croissance et la rentabilité à long terme.
  • Suivre et analyser les indicateurs clés de performance (revenus, trafic, engagement, conversion) et produire des rapports clairs et actionnables.
  • Garantir l’exactitude du suivi, l’intégrité des liens et la qualité des données de performance.
  • Améliorer continuellement les processus opérationnels et éditoriaux afin d’accroître l’efficacité et la rapidité d’exécution.

Leadership et collaboration

  • Agir comme responsable opérationnel principal des marques assignées.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes éditoriales, produit, ventes, marketing de performance et direction. Favoriser une culture axée sur la responsabilisation, la performance et l’expérimentation.

IA & automatisation
