The Product Content Management (PCM) Lead is responsible for leading the strategy, governance, automation, and operational management of enterprise plan document content. This role serves as the subject matter expert for document automation and content management solutions, ensuring the accurate creation, maintenance, and publication of member-facing and internal benefit documents.

The PCM Lead partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and cross-functional departments to design and implement scalable content management solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, accuracy, and customer experience. This position requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, technical aptitude, and the ability to drive process improvements and content automation initiatives across the organization.

Content Management & Automation (70%)

• Lead the design, automation, maintenance, governance, and control of enterprise plan document content.
• Develop and maintain document automation frameworks, templates, and content structures.
• Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements for content automation solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement content management improvements.
• Schedule, coordinate, and execute testing activities for document automation and content production processes.
• Establish and maintain content policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Drive operational efficiency through workflow automation and process optimization.
• Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to team members and end users.

Plan Document Development & Production (10%)

• Research, write, and produce benefit-related documentation, including Certificates, Guide to Benefits, Summary of Changes, Federal Plan Brochures, and Administrative Services Agreements.
• Analyze plan benefit and language changes and assess impacts on existing documents.
• Provide recommendations on document structure, wording, and content strategy.
• Ensure content is clear, accurate, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards.

Compliance & Governance (10%)

• Ensure all content creation and updates comply with regulatory, organizational, and operational requirements.
• Maintain document controls, approvals, and audit-ready records.
• Manage content repository updates and document tracking processes.
• Support compliance reviews and governance initiatives related to content management.

Operational Support & Collaboration (10%)

• Train and support content management and automation users.
• Coordinate system security, access controls, and application support activities with IT teams.
• Assist with troubleshooting complex content and automation-related issues.
• Partner with vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and support cross-functional initiatives focused on process transformation and operational excellence.

• Experience working with healthcare plans and multiple lines of business.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to navigate content management systems, document automation tools, and workflow technologies.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring, training, project leadership, and driving organizational initiatives.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
• Ability to analyze complex information and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with advanced English grammar proficiency.
• Experience creating and managing project deliverables and timelines.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in content development and content creation.
• Knowledge of enterprise content management (ECM) platforms and document automation technologies.
• Experience with process improvement and workflow optimization initiatives.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements in highly regulated industries.

The successful PCM Lead combines expertise in content management, document automation, business process improvement, and compliance oversight. This individual is a collaborative leader who can translate complex business requirements into scalable content solutions, influence stakeholders at all levels, and ensure the delivery of accurate, compliant, and customer-focused documentation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
