Your role.

Plante Moran is seeking a qualified intern to join our Go-to-Market team to support high-impact marketing campaigns, firm-hosted events, and strategic sponsorship programs that drive demand and marketplace growth. The intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and will finish the internship with hands-on experience in campaign execution, event coordination, client engagement, and marketing technology. Together with your team, you'll help deliver exceptional experiences for Plante Moran clients and prospects. Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assist in coordinating and executing marketing campaigns, events, and sponsorship programs from planning to reporting-tracking deliverables, negotiating benefits, and supporting partner relationships.

  • Collaborate with the activation team, creative studio, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality campaigns and events; draft and edit promotional copy, develop invitations, and support distribution of digital communications.

  • Utilize marketing tools and technologies (CRM, project management systems, marketing automation platforms) to manage workflows, coordinate approvals, and analyze engagement data.

  • Capture success stories, photos, and analytics to support reporting, inclusive recaps, and presentations for leadership.

  • Provide day-of-event support for in-person client and prospect experiences, ensuring flawless execution and brand representation.

The qualifications.

  • Completion of three years of study toward a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of CRM systems (MS Dynamics, Salesforce), project management tools (Adobe Workfront), and/or marketing automation platforms (Marketo) a plus.

  • Resourceful, adaptable, and client-service oriented with the ability to represent the firm in internal and external settings.

This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO, IL, or MA. Please review theposition location for theapplicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range for their position, as compensation decisions are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer market-based starting salaries that are consistent across individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL and MA is: $24.00 - $27.00
