The Manager, Ecommerce Merchandising & AI is responsible for leading BIC's digital content strategy and execution across North America's ecommerce landscape, supporting a diverse portfolio of retailers including Amazon, retail.com partners, wholesalers, distributors, and commercial ecommerce platforms. This role plays a critical part in driving online sales growth by optimizing digital shelf performance, enhancing product discoverability, improving conversion, and delivering an exceptional shopper experience.
As the organization's subject matter expert in ecommerce content and digital merchandising, this role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Brand, Customer Supply Chain, agencies, and retailer teams to execute best-in-class digital strategies. This role also identifies emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and digital innovations that strengthen BIC's competitive position while developing scalable processes and tools that improve operational efficiency and performance measurement.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead the execution of BIC's digital content strategy across Amazon, retail.com, B2B, and distributor ecommerce platforms to maximize sales, conversion, and digital shelf performance.
  • Develop and execute seasonal content strategies and optimization plans that improve shopper engagement, search visibility, glance views, and conversion.
  • Manage digital product launches, ensuring new innovations and core assortments achieve digital shelf excellence across all supported retailers.
  • Drive continuous improvement of ecommerce workflows, content syndication, reporting capabilities, and analytics through new tools, technologies, and automation.
  • Monitor digital performance metrics to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and implement data-driven recommendations that improve online business results.
  • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert for ecommerce content, digital merchandising, SEO best practices, and emerging digital trends, including AI-enabled customer experiences.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Brand, agencies, and retailer teams to align priorities, execute initiatives, and resolve complex digital execution challenges.
  • Lead strategic vendor relationships supporting content management, analytics, ratings and reviews, and digital optimization programs.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to improve digital capabilities, streamline processes, and elevate execution across the ecommerce organization.
  • Stay ahead of evolving ecommerce trends, retailer capabilities, and competitive best practices to identify innovative growth opportunities.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience managing ecommerce, digital content, or digital merchandising within a consumer products, retail, or agency environment.
  • Proven experience supporting Amazon and retail.com ecommerce businesses with responsibility for digital content, conversion, and online sales performance.
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms and content management systems including Salsify, Vendor Central, digital shelf analytics, and related tools.
  • Experience utilizing SEO principles, digital merchandising strategies, and analytics to improve ecommerce performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives while influencing stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Brand, and retailer organizations.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Passion for digital innovation, continuous improvement, and emerging technologies that enhance the online shopper experience.
