As a Customer Experience Training and Content Specialist you are responsible for YETI's Direct to Consumer (DTC) content experience, providing internal and external teams with the information they need to be successful. At YETI we are focused on providing consistent, reliable, and clear information to our valued customers. We are seeking a proficient Training & Content Specialist with strong writing acumen. You will work closely with team members across multiple departments to create and maintain engaging and informative content that anticipates customers' needs and provides straightforward solutions that are easy to follow and understand. You will ensure the integrity of the YETI brand is consistent and seamless through all customer-faced contact methods. This position reports to the Supervisor, Training & Content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage customer-facing written content across multiple communication channels, including email, voice, and web
• Create, maintain, and optimize training documentation for both internal teams and external partners
• Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions to ensure consistent delivery and adoption of best practices among external partners
• Ensure content aligns with brand standards while meeting evolving customer expectations
• Anticipate customer needs by proactively addressing follow-up questions and next steps in communications
• Synthesize complex information from multiple sources (policies, products, promotions) into clear, actionable content
• Conduct regular content audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with customer satisfaction and first-contact resolution goals
• Monitor and evaluate published content to drive continuous improvement and effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Channel Experience, Partner Relations, and Quality Assurance
• Partner with external organizations to identify opportunities for training enhancements and performance improvements
• Work independently while effectively aligning with leadership and team objectives
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience in content management, delivering instructor-led training, and collaborating with external partners and stakeholders preferred.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, SAP, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience creating content in multiple formats (e.g., training videos, knowledge base articles)
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Solution-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and recommend improvements
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage priorities independently
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for enhancing and innovating the customer experience
