Job description

Position Summary 
The Marketing Content Developer creates and optimizes high-impact content that strengthens brand presence and engages target audiences. This role owns content strategy research and execution, drives cross-platform content distribution, and ensures alignment with SEO and AEO best practices. The Content Specialist analyzes performance metrics to continuously refine content effectiveness and audience engagement. This role requires a strong storyteller who can uncover and communicate customer value while managing content across multiple platforms. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Content Strategy and Research: Own the research, development, and execution of content strategies that align with business objectives and target audience. Translate insights from market trends, audience behavior, and performance data into actionable content plans that drive engagement and brand visibility.  
     

  • Content Creation and Optimization: Create, edit, and publish high quality content across digital channels, including website pages, blogs, landing pages and social platforms. Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, AEO, clarity, and consistency while maintaining a strong brand voice and storytelling focus. Regularly audit and update web content to improve its effectiveness and ensure accuracy. 
     

  • SEO, AEO & Keyword Strategy: Conduct keyword and search intent research to guide content creation and optimization. Continuously refine content to improve discoverability, rankings, and relevance as search behavior and AI-driven discovery evolve.  
     

  • Social Media Content Creation: Craft content across social media channels to increase brand reach and engagement. Monitor and report on platform performance and adjust based on analytics insights. 
     

  • Performance Tracking and Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools, measuring metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversions. Use insights to recommend optimizations, test improvements, and continuously enhance content effectiveness. 
     

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure content supports broader initiatives and campaigns. Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messaging that supports business goals and customer understanding. 
     

  • Marketing Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging digital technologies, and content marketing practices to continually refine and enhance content strategies. 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline  

  • Proven knowledge of SEO, AEO, website optimization, keyword research, digital marketing, and social media best practices  

  • Strong writing, editing, and project management capabilities  

  • Comfortable balancing independent ownership with collaborative teamwork 

  • Exposure to technical services or IT-related environment preferred 

Work Environment and Physical Demands 

  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.  

  • Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds) may be required.
