Position Overview

This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and functional expertise to the Supply Chain Operations in the Americas on implementing projects across a wide range of disciplines. This position will be responsible for the development, deployment, and coaching of site leaders and team members for various systems and projects across the Americas region. These programs may include Journey to Excellence (TPM) as well as People development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Projects of the regional Americas Supply Chain (ASC) Masterplan as assigned
    • Lead Regional programs
      • ASC Management System
      • Global HQ SC Employee Experience Plan and Appreciation activities
      • Plan Recognition Event (OSCARS) and manage nominations process and communication
    • Participate in ASC JTE Program
      • Close interaction with Health and Safety pillar, Training and Development pillar
  • Provide support for Organizational Capability and Effectiveness through the Future Ready Workforce programs
    • Participate in the compilation of ASC Compelling Business Need (CBN)
    • Lead the roll-out of Culture/ HPO related training material to ASC sites
    • Lead ASC Intern program
    • Lead training workshops across ASC Network eg Strength Finders
  • Americas Supply Chain SharePoint ownership
  • Provide support for ASC Communications through Town Hall and other activities
    • Plan content to be presented by ASC Leadership team members, manage invitations, prepare Presentation and ensure content is prepared on time.
    • Prepare Presentations for ASC for Americas Regional meetings            

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, in Business, HR, Supply Chain or related field.
  • 7+ years of business experience across multiple disciplines including experience in Supply Chain, Change Management, Learning and Development or other related Supply Chain disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience on implementation of projects as a project manager
  • Demonstrated experience operating in a global and regional environment, with understanding to different cultural norms and ways of working.
  • Ability to lead and work with regional, cross-functional, and multi-site teams.
  • Demonstrated experience working on cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills, from plant technicians through plant/regional leaders. Ability to lead and coach/develop others in setting direction, strategy and executing problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply independent judgment to solve problems, inspires loyalty and trust, handles oneself ethically, ability to motivate, ability to lead without formal authority, ability to influence outcomes, ability to get things done through others.
  • Coaches and provides training to project teams on Project and Change Management methodologies and strategies.
  • Regularly communicates with Americas Supply Chain Leadership Team
  • Ability to analyze complex problems to identify and correct root causes with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to self-manage and operate independently in environments that may not be black and white
  • Operates as a continuous learner, proactively asking questions, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvement. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong influencing, collaboration, and partnering skills to grow business relationships vital to project success.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Problem solving skills involving multiple constraints, many of which are not within the direct control of the incumbent.

  • Certifications in Project Management (CPAM/PMP), or Coaching, Change Management

Dimension

The Project Manager will manage the implementation of different programs and methodologies across both small and large-scale projects and strategic initiatives in the Americas Supply Chain. Manages communications with steering committees, key business resources, and senior management. Must demonstrate ability to track the comprehensive business case for the project, define project success criteria, and together with the project teams, formulate and implement change management plans. Provides coaching, guidance and training to project Change Leaders, Startup Leaders, and project teams. Interfaces with Corporate Communications to develop project branding and communication strategies. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong influencing, collaboration, and partnering skills to grow business relationships vital to project success. People: Impacts all project stakeholder groups including team members, steering committee, key business areas benefitting from project results, executive sponsor, external customers, and vendors.

Base Salary: $87,910 - $153,870

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
