Job Description
Position Summary:
Join Rockwell Automation's Trusted Content team as a Project Manager, where you'll lead initiatives that shape the future of our Trusted Content for Rockwell Automation helping customers across many industries and applications. You'll collaborate with leadership across Trusted Content to drive strategic projects that create high impact to customers, through every phase of the project lifecycle. Be part of a high-performance team committed to building project management capabilities and elevating Trusted Content. You will report to the Manager, Trusted Content within the Trusted Content organization.
Your Responsibilities:
  • As an individual contributor, you will develop project management methodologies that scale with scope and type of Trusted Content
  • Your daily priorities will include managing and planning projects of varying complexity and scope, related execution activities, coordinating resources, and managing finances for product development projects
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria with our goals
  • You will support development and the execution of Trusted Content Governance model
  • Support the adoption and use of Agile methodologies within Trusted Content development teams
  • Build stakeholder engagement plans and provide regular updates throughout the project lifecycle including KPI's and Metrics published monthly
  • You will identify project risks to different stakeholder groups
  • Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency
  • Scale and apply Rockwell-standard project management techniques to ensure compliance and consistency
  • You will advocate for and coach the broader Trusted Content organization on adoption of Project Management methodologies

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 10% of time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience managing projects of varied scale and complexity
  • You are a natural teacher, excited to educate our organization about project management methodologies
  • Desire to work in an environment where you will lead through change
  • Experience working with teams across product development including software engineering, embedded software engineering, product management and functional/system test
  • Project Management certificate or PMP certification.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, e.g. certified scrum master
  • Experience planning projects with Project applications (i.e. Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Experience with Atlassian suite of applications: Jira, Jira Align and Confluence
  • Experience with standardized Product Development processes including use of stage gating
  • Master's degree in business administration or other related field
