OBJECTIVE: Safely and accurately help load product onto trucks to be shipped out to customers, or unload product that is received from vendors to be stocked in the warehouse. Also, to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must perform satisfactorily all of the required functions in the Warehouse in the sole judgment of CWI, which includes, but is not limited to:

Working at a fast pace while maintaining safe working habits

Selecting single pieces and full cases of product in our warehouse to fill customer orders using a pick ticket or a rush order from the sales office

Performing physical labor that requires constant moving and frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of items up to 50 lbs throughout duration of shift (8 hours+)

Safely ascend and descend a traverse ladder

Replenishing stock, rotating product, stacking boxes, transporting product

Assisting customers on the sales floor in a courteous and professional manner

Offload inbound freight trucks

Receive product on the dock

Check, Verify, and place incoming inventory items appropriately

Recording all pulled orders and submit a daily log to management

Organize product and maintain inventory

Make sure product locations are correct and up to date

Place product in the overflow locations in the warehouse racks

Interact with drivers that come to drop off shipments and unloading them if needed

Pack efficiently so orders can be shipped within 24 hours of when it is placed

Check notes or other instructions when working with a pick ticket before shipping

Strive to reach the daily goals set by the company

Label all boxes with the correct information for transport or storage

Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

Load trucks for delivery

Assist by helping or covering other job functions throughout the other departments in the warehouse as instructed by a supervisor, management, or owner

Perform cleaning functions to maintain sanitation, health and safety standards

Abide by all company safety regulations

Occasional mandatory overtime

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; and/or possesses relevant work experience 18 years of age or older
