Job description

The Vice President, Content Marketing is a newly created global leadership role creating and building a best-in-class content framework and model driving the GXO Customer value proposition & differentiation in the 3PL, contract logistics and warehouse automation spaces. This role is responsible for building an enterprise-wide content strategy that ensures consistent, high-quality, and performance-driven communications across all marketing channels – the editor and chief of content.

The Vice President, Content Marketing will establish the content marketing strategy and translate complex business offerings into clear, buyer-centric value and aligns content to demand generation, sales enablement, and customer engagement objectives, ultimately driving measurable pipeline and revenue impact. This is a build, scale, transform and create role that’s critical to driving GXO’s growth agenda.

Position is hybrid and based out of our GXO office in Charlotte NC, High Point NC, Greenwich CT, Fort Lauderdale FL, or Irving TX.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Pipeline creation by aligning content to buyer questions and persona’s; the leader enables demand generation programs that attract and engage qualified prospects, fueling tops of funnel pipeline
  • Conversation improvement through value propositions, ROI focused messaging and proof-based content
  • Ongoing measurement of engagement, pipeline influence, and conversion allows continuous refinement of content to maximize revenue contribution over time
  • Global content creation and budget including any technology to support content creation
  • Building, creating, implementing and designing operational plans
  • Leading change related to content framework and enterprise content strategy;
What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 10-15 years in Fortune 500 company B2B, journalism background with B2B experience
  • Deep knowledge in buyer intent technology
  • 3PL Logistics, Warehouse Automation, WMS and appetite/aptitude for AI
  • Travel 20%-30% inclusive of global
