Propio Language Services is transforming communication by developing tools and technologies that make it easier and more efficient for clients to engage with the Limited English Proficiency Population. We strive to improve access to healthcare and essential services in social services, education, legal and many others. This role is located in our Overland Park, KS office supporting our corporate employees.
Propio is rapidly growing and is looking to hire a highly motivated Learning Content Creator to join our corporate team. The Learning Content Creator is a key member of the Learning & Development team responsible for creating clear, engaging, accessible, and brand-aligned content that supports employee learning, communication, and performance. This role partners closely with learning designers, facilitators, subject matter experts, communications partners, and business stakeholders to turn complex information into usable, polished content across multiple formats.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, visual communicator, and detail-oriented producer who can simplify information, create compelling content, and maintain consistency across learning and internal communication materials.
Responsibilities
  • Create, edit, and maintain high-quality learning and enablement content that support learning engagement, knowledge retention, and performance support including job aids, guides, scripts, decks, knowledge articles, microlearning, videos, graphics, and digital resources.
  • Translate complex or technical information into clear, concise, learner-friendly content that is easy to understand and apply.
  • Partner with SMEs, learning designers, facilitators, and business stakeholders to gather information, clarify requirements, and validate content accuracy.
  • Apply brand standards, tone, accessibility guidelines, and content design best practices to ensure consistency and quality across deliverables.
  • Support video creation and editing, including scripting, storyboarding, recording coordination, basic editing, captioning, and file management.
  • Maintain content libraries, templates, reusable assets, and source files to ensure materials remain organized, current, and easy to update.
  • Review and revise content based on feedback, process changes, learner input, and business needs.
  • Leverage appropriate content creation tools, AI, Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other digital platforms to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Manage assigned content projects from intake through completion, including timelines, drafts, reviews, approvals, revisions, and final delivery.

Requirements
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, instructional design, education, graphic design, multimedia production, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 1+ years of experience in content creation, communications, learning content development, training support, multimedia production, or a related role.
  • Portfolio of past work or personal projects required.

Required Skills
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content organization skills.
  • Ability to translate complex information into impactful learning content for a diverse audience.
  • Strong visual communication skills, including layout, formatting, slide design, and basic graphic design principles.
  • Experience creating digital content using Microsoft 365, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather, validate, and refine content.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand, style, accessibility, and quality standards.
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with video editing, audio cleanup, captioning, and multimedia production.
