Job description

Seeking a highly creative marketing team member to quickly contribute and support the company’s overall revenue goals. This position is responsible for educating our consumers on our products via training, marketing content and/or Use & Care Information. Hybrid role


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The incumbent may be required to perform all or a combination of the following essential functions as determined by business necessity:


  • Assist in creation of user-friendly Use & Care Information
  • Develop the product-based and marketing content for all product training including proper Use & Care information for all new and existing products
  • Partner with Training team to turn content into LMS courses and other training vehicles
  • Develop product marketing plans to support new launches and promotional use of existing items, to include videos, web content, photography needs and recipe development.
  • Partner with Creative team for content development and with Digital/Social teams for content deployment.


NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may be required to perform other non-essential functions. Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by their supervisor.


SPECIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. EDUCATION, TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree – Business or Marketing, 3-5 gives housewares experience (Consumer Goods), 1-2 years training content experience. Direct Sales preferred, not required. Marketing experience, and/or brand or product management. Proven track record of supporting and leading marketing projects.Strong team/project, communications and presentation skills.


TECHNICAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, and/or LICENSES:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required. LMS preferred but not required.


REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Bi-lingual Required: Spanish/English (written/spoken). Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional publications and business information. Ability to write reports and effectively present information as well as respond to questions from managers throughout the organization. Must be fully bilingual, culturally sensitive, and to be able to understand the sensitivities of cultures.


ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS and/or PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Will use a computer, keyboard, monitor and mouse regularly. Travel requirement: 10% to as required to support business needs. Remote/Hybrid position with travel to home office based on business need. At home setting is required to ensure comfort and privacy for sensitive information.
