Position Summary

We are looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Social & Digital Content Coordinator to support and execute our digital content and social media strategy. This mid-level role will be responsible for coordinating content across multiple digital channels, managing day-to-day social media activity, and helping ensure our brand communicates consistently and effectively with our audiences.


The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and storyteller who understands social media, digital content, and brand voice. This person should be comfortable taking ownership of projects from idea through execution, managing multiple deadlines, and using performance data to continually improve content.


Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Management

  • Manage and maintain the company's social media content calendar across applicable platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other channels.
  • Draft, edit, schedule, and publish engaging social media content that aligns with the company's brand and marketing strategy.
  • Develop content ideas and proactively identify opportunities to increase engagement and strengthen the company's digital presence.
  • Coordinate social content surrounding company initiatives, events, educational content, employee highlights, announcements, and campaigns.
  • Ensure content is accurate, polished, on-brand, and approved before publication.
  • Monitor social media channels and coordinate responses or escalation when appropriate.


Digital Content

  • Assist with creating and coordinating digital content, including website content, email campaigns, newsletters, articles, videos, graphics, and other marketing materials.
  • Repurpose existing content across multiple channels and formats to maximize its reach and effectiveness.
  • Partner with internal subject-matter experts to turn complex information into clear, engaging, audience-friendly content.
  • Maintain consistency in messaging, tone, visual identity, and brand standards across digital channels.
  • Coordinate with internal team members and external vendors on photography, video, design, and other content needs.


Campaign & Project Coordination

  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing and social media campaigns.
  • Manage content-related projects, timelines, approvals, and deliverables from start to finish.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders to gather information and keep projects moving forward.
  • Balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Maintain organized digital content libraries and marketing assets.


Analytics & Optimization

  • Track social media and digital content performance, including engagement, reach, traffic, and other relevant metrics.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Use performance data to recommend adjustments to content, timing, channels, and overall strategy.
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, content formats, and digital marketing best practices.


Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, communications, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts and digital content for a business or organization.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing a content calendar and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of social media analytics and digital performance metrics.
  • Experience with social media scheduling and management platforms.
  • Comfortable working with basic graphic design and content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience coordinating video and short-form social content is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take ownership of assignments and work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
