Our client in the Information Technology and Services Industry is looking for a Senior Director, Industry Marketing. The Industry Marketer acts as a strategic marketing partner to the local Industry and Sales Lead, ensuring the effective localization, activation, and execution of global industry marketing strategies at the country level. The role bridges global and local teams, translating global priorities into relevant, impactful marketing programs that drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Marketing Business Partner to the local Industry and Sales Lead.
  • Drive the local adaptation and execution of industry marketing strategy and plans, including campaigns, content, and events.
  • Translate and tailor the global industry narrative to align with local market realities.
  • Incorporate local market insights, trends, and client stories into industry campaigns, feeding into the Global Industry Plan.
  • Develop bespoke content and marketing initiatives to address gaps in global plans, aligned with business growth priorities.
  • Share regional best practices to enable reuse and scaling across markets.
  • Support thought leadership positioning within the local industry ecosystem and identify key spokespersons.
  • Actively contribute to global industry planning and calls to ensure local market relevance.
  • Serve as the key interface between global/regional industry teams and the local country organization.
  • Integrate business line offerings and partner solutions into industry priority mapping to ensure alignment with market opportunities and drive relevance, differentiation, and growth.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in senior B2B marketing leadership and strategic roles.
  • Experience operating within complex global matrixed organizations.
  • Strong background in strategic marketing, account-based marketing, industry marketing, and business partnership.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with executive stakeholders and C-suite leaders.
  • Demonstrated success measuring campaign impact and business outcomes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in evolving environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, decision making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience within related industries is advantageous.
