Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid) with Travel involved several times a year.

Vacatia is an innovative hospitality company reinventing the vacation rental and ownership experience across discovery, booking, and stay. We're building the next generation of travel lifestyle products blending technology, hospitality, and design to create smarter, more connected experiences for guests, owners, and partners.

We're looking for a creative, strategic storyteller who will shape how our employees, leaders, and the industry experience the Vacatia brand. As our Internal Communications Specialist Culture & Executive Voice, you'll partner closely with executive leadership to craft authentic stories, elevate our CEO's voice, strengthen employee engagement, and showcase the people and culture that make Vacatia unique.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love turning ideas into compelling content, and enjoy blending creativity with business strategy, this is your opportunity to help define the voice of one of the fastest-growing hospitality companies in vacation ownership.

Why You'll Love Working at Vacatia

Build the Future: Help define how one of the hospitality industry's fastest-growing companies communicates its culture, celebrates its people, and shares its vision with employees and the world.

Impact That Matters: Your storytelling will influence employee engagement, strengthen our employer brand, elevate executive thought leadership, and reinforce the culture that drives Vacatia's continued growth.

Innovation at Scale: Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Human Resources, Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and teams across the organization to create communications that inspire, inform, and connect.

Autonomy and Ownership: Own Vacatia's internal communications strategy while serving as the trusted communications partner for our CEO. You'll have the freedom to introduce new ideas, experiment with creative formats, and shape how our story is told.

Culture of Growth: Join a collaborative, people-first organization that values innovation, authenticity, continuous learning, and empowering employees to make a meaningful impact.

Your Impact

  • Partner directly with the CEO to develop authentic thought leadership content, executive messaging, and storytelling across LinkedIn, video, and internal communications.
  • Capture the stories behind Vacatia's people, culture, milestones, and business growth through compelling written, visual, and multimedia content.
  • Lead the creation of engaging company newsletters, leadership updates, employee communications, and organizational announcements.
  • Manage and grow Team Vacatia's social media presence by showcasing our culture, employees, community involvement, and workplace experiences.
  • Conduct interviews with executives and employees to transform conversations into engaging stories that resonate with both internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate across Human Resources, Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to strengthen employee engagement and employer branding initiatives.
  • Produce content that builds executive visibility, reinforces company values, and positions Vacatia as an employer of choice within hospitality.
  • Continuously explore new storytelling formats, communication channels, and creative strategies that enhance engagement and elevate the employee experience.

What You Bring

  • 35 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, journalism, public relations, content marketing, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt your voice for executive communications, employee engagement, and social media.
  • Experience developing executive thought leadership, ghostwriting, or leadership communications preferred.
  • Strong storytelling abilities with experience creating written, visual, and multimedia content across multiple platforms.
  • Experience managing LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media channels for brands or executive leaders.
  • Comfortable interviewing executives and employees, facilitating conversations, and capturing authentic moments through video and photography.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset, creative curiosity, and passion for building meaningful employee experiences.
  • Hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or consumer brand experience is a plus.
