The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is looking for a Part-Time Content Marketing Specialist to create compelling and persuasive media that will inspire, promote and fundraise for one of CBNโ€™s Middle East Ministries. This position will work directly with the development manager to create and monitor digital content while collaborating with other teams to provide end to end communications needs including annual reports, newsletters, updates, grant reports, blogs, and website content. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to CBNโ€™s Biblical mission to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide.

The salary range for this position is $20-$23 per hour. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in developing strategy to create effective social media, websites, donor data management systems and e-newsletters
  • Working knowledge of planning and executing compelling digital content including video, graphic, and written content that engages the audience in dynamic and interactive ways.
  • Proficient in marketing campaigns on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, and Hootsuite
  • Strong knowledge of internet content development
  • Strong ability to prepare graphic presentations such as infographics, photoshop, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Working knowledge of industry best practices in web design, SEO, information design/architecture, usability, accessibility, reporting and A/B testing
  • Proficient with Google Analytics, Omniture analytics and social listening tools such as Hootsuite and Google alerts
  • Excellent ability to facilitate and create integrated media projects (print or online)
  • Working knowledge of English literary, editorial (spelling/proofing) and creative writing skills to include knowledge of Associate Press-style writing
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and related software
  • Strong project and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Strategic with big picture thinking and creative problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as contribute to the creative process and work as an effective member of a high-energy, creative team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with external public in a positive and professional manner
  • Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBNโ€™s nonprofit Christian mission
