About the team

This role sits within the Global training organization, we produce content for all
instructor led one-to-many customer enablement opportunities. You will play a key part in empowering Salesforce customers through clear, effective, and scalable learning experiences. In this role, you will own meaningful content development projects from scoping through delivery, sharpen your product expertise, and set the bar for learning content quality across the team. If you are energized by making complex technology accessible and love seeing your work directly impact how customers succeed, this is your opportunity to do that at scale.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Lead the development of multi-modal learning content projects, including presentations, guides, hands-on training, assessments, event content, and video-based training, from scoping through delivery.
  • Develop and maintain deep subject matter expertise on Salesforce products and translate complex concepts into simple, accessible, and effective learning content for our customers.
  • Drive collaboration with content strategists, product managers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy, relevance, and strategic alignment.
  • Lead content maintenance efforts and ensure timely updates in response to product releases.
  • Define, uphold, and advance quality standards for all learning deliverables, serving as a quality bar raiser for the team.
  • Actively leverage AI tools to optimize content development workflows, enhance content quality, and drive efficiency, and help establish best practices for AI-assisted content development across the team.

You Are Our Person If...

  • You have 6+ years of experience in a role requiring deep product knowledge (e.g., Technical Consultant, Solutions Engineer, Customer Success Manager, Support Engineer, Product Support, Salesforce Administrator) with a demonstrated track record of teaching, training, or enabling others, OR 6+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or technical content creation.
  • You have demonstrated ability to lead content development projects, managing scope, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • You have a passion for technology and a talent for explaining complex concepts in a clear, accessible manner.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
  • You have excellence in written and verbal communication, with strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
  • You have experience using AI tools to enhance work processes and content development workflows.

  • You have direct experience with Salesforce products and technologies.
  • You have experience with AI-assisted content development tools and workflows (e.g., using generative AI for content drafting, research, or localization).
  • You have experience creating and leading educational content (e.g., writing knowledge base articles, recording short tutorials, leading training sessions, presenting at user groups or conferences).
  • You have a solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • You have a background in technical writing or software documentation.
  • You have knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with learning management systems and content development tools.
