Job description

In this role, you’ll introduce your peers to Tubi and help make it a go-to streaming service on your campus. You’ll bring Tubi to life by hosting on-campus screenings that give students a fun reason to show up, watch together, and discover what Tubi has to offer.

Your main tasks are to: (1) host 3 on-campus Tubi screenings throughout the academic year, including securing appropriate venues, driving attendance, and creating a strong event experience; and (2) create and share engaging social media content on your personal Instagram and TikTok accounts.

Timeline: This opportunity runs for the full 2026-2027 academic year (Fall 2026 semester/quarter - Spring 2027 semester/quarter).

About Tubi:

Boldly built for fandom, Tubi is a free streaming service that entertains over 100 million monthly active users. Tubi offers the world’s largest collection of Hollywood movies and TV shows, thousands of creator-led stories, and hundreds of Tubi Originals made for the most passionate fans. Founded in 2014, Tubi has become a destination for discovery, where audiences can go down the rabbit hole and follow their fandom wherever it leads, for free without subscriptions or paywalls.

As Tubi continues to invest in original young adult storytelling, we're building a slate for audiences who take their fandom seriously. From the Sidelined franchise with Noah Beck and Siena Agudong to How to Lose a Popularity Contest with Chase Hudson and Sara Waisglass, and Kissing Is the Easy Part with Asher Angel and Paris Berelc, Tubi has become home to a growing collection of fan-favorite YA Originals. Our upcoming slate builds on that commitment, giving students an exclusive chance to be among the first to discover, celebrate, and champion the next generation of Tubi Originals, helping amplify the titles and shape the conversation around our brand.

Follow Tubi on TikTok and Instagram & learn more about us on our website!

Benefits

  • Earn a total stipend of $1,350 for successful completion of all of your program deliverables. Payouts for completed deliverables are processed every two weeks via PayPal or Venmo.
  • Additional opportunities to earn cash bonuses throughout the program
  • Receive free Tubi merch/swag to use at your activations and wear around campus
  • Enjoy a fun, flexible opportunity you can shape around your busy college schedule
  • Gain valuable entrepreneurial experience in marketing and communication

Responsibilities

Over the course of the 2026-2027 academic year, you'll complete the following program deliverables:

  • Host 3 on-campus screenings. You will be responsible for securing appropriate venues and required university approvals, complying with campus policies and applicable laws, creating an inviting event setup, and providing snacks/beverages to enhance the experience. You will be reimbursed for pre-approved expenses. Each event should have at least 100 attendees.
  • 6 TikTok Posts - the best content may receive additional promotion, giving you greater visibility and the opportunity to grow your social media following.
  • 6 Instagram Posts - IG static in-feed posts + carousels and/or Reels
  • 6 Instagram Stories

In addition to the tasks above, you will also be responsible for the following:

  • Join a virtual training call and scheduled program support calls to set you up for success
  • Stay in touch with the EvolveZ team via Slack to report work progress throughout the program
  • Capture & submit picture and video content throughout the program
  • Encourage your event attendees to opt-in for Tubi emails
  • Share feedback throughout the program
  • Complete your deliverables in line with the task due dates shared during virtual training, with work spaced throughout the quarter/semester

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be a currently enrolled college student, on campus for the Fall 2026 semester/quarter AND Spring 2027 semester/quarter
  • Should not promote or create content for other streaming services, as this dilutes your effectiveness as a Tubi advocate. Disclose other brand partnerships to EvolveZ during the program.
  • This is a paid, project-based 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity. You must be legally eligible to work in the US (US Citizens or Permanent Residents).
  • Passionate about event planning, social content creation & promotion, and being a trendsetter for new services amongst your peers. Added bonus if you already love Tubi!
  • The ability to connect with on-campus organizations (Greek Life/campus clubs) is preferred.
  • A strong & “brand safe” presence on Instagram & TikTok is required.
  • For IG, we require applicants to have at least 1,000 followers with strong engagement rates.
  • For TikTok, we require applicants to consistently have videos that generate over 500 views.
  • Content on both platforms should avoid offensive language, inappropriate behavior, depictions of illegal or unsafe activities, cursing (including in music), profane gestures or actions, underage drinking, overly religious or political topics or any content that is inconsistent with Tubi’s brand values.
  • Must make your Instagram & TikTok accounts public and unhide likes throughout the program
