WHAT YOU GET TO DO

The Content Manager develops, maintains and governs KNAPP US & Canadian messaging, copy, written assets and editorial standards. This role owns all value propositions, product descriptions, blogs, white papers, and social content while ensuring messaging consistency across the full marketing team. The Content Manager partners closely with the Marketing Manager, Digital Media Specialist and Event Manager to support campaigns, events, product storytelling and external communications. The role ensures all content is accurate, technically grounded, on‑brand and aligned with KNAPP’s global messaging framework.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Own the development, governance and approval of all master messaging documents, including corporate, KUS-level and BU-specific content
  • Create, revise and maintain product descriptions, value propositions, boilerplates and marketing messaging.
  • Complete writing requests including blogs, social media copy, campaign assets, ad copy and internal messaging support
  • Partner with the Marketing Manager to align messaging across campaigns, case studies, PR items and advertising initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Digital Media Specialist to publish blogs and maintain independent posting workflows for website content
  • Work with the Event Manager to deliver event messaging, booth content, promotional copy and tradeshow-related written assets.
  • Produce high-quality long-form assets such as case studies, white papers and application stories in partnership with BD and customer teams
  • Maintain editorial standards, tone of voice and content accuracy across all marketing outputs
  • Support PR and media efforts with draft quotes, press release content and background materials
  • Monitor social content performance, blog engagement and messaging effectiveness to inform content strategy.

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B content marketing, technical writing, or editorial leadership; experience in supply chain, logistics, automation, or industrial technology environments helpful.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts, systems, and processes into clear, accurate, and compelling customer-facing messaging.
  • Experience developing and maintaining value propositions, product descriptions, messaging frameworks, and editorial standards across multiple audiences and channels.
  • Hands-on experience producing and managing a range of content formats including blogs, campaign copy, event messaging, and internal communications.
  • Experience optimizing marketing copy for traditional SEO and a student of generative AI search environments, including keyword intent alignment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, events, BD, and digital teams to align messaging with campaigns, events, and product launches.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high standard for accuracy, consistency, and version control across all published content.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload, maintain editorial calendars, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
