What is a content creator?

A Content Creator is a professional who produces engaging and relevant material for digital platforms, such as blogs, social media, websites, or video channels. Their work can include writing articles, creating videos, designing graphics, or producing podcasts to attract and engage audiences. Content Creators often tailor their material to suit the target audience and platform, using creativity and strategy to achieve marketing or communication goals. They may work independently or as part of a larger marketing or media team.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a content creator, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Content Creator, you need strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, often supported by experience in digital media or a related field. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, SEO tools, and basic graphic or video editing software is typically required. Creativity, adaptability, and effective communication are standout soft skills for connecting with audiences and responding to changing trends. These skills are essential for producing engaging, high-quality content that drives audience growth and meets organizational goals.

What are some common challenges content creators face when managing multiple projects or platforms?

Content Creators often juggle several projects and platforms at once, which can make time management and consistency challenging. Balancing the unique requirements of each channel—such as adapting tone, format, and posting frequency—requires strong organizational skills. Additionally, staying up-to-date with trends and algorithms while meeting deadlines can be demanding. Collaborating effectively with designers, marketers, and other team members is key to ensuring cohesive and high-quality output across all platforms.

Co-Founder & CEO - AI Content Intelligence & Publishing Engine

FutureSight

Boston, MA • Remote

Job description

The Opportunity

FutureSight is seeking a Co-Founder & CEO to lead Orbitwell an AI-native content intelligence and publishing venture. This is a co-founder partnership with meaningful founder equity, not a salaried executive role.

Orbitwell is an AI-first content intelligence engine that transforms raw information into structured insights and ready-to-publish content. The platform ingests high-signal content from sources like LinkedIn, X, newsletters, blogs, and podcasts, extracts and clusters insights into themes, and generates drafts tailored to individual or brand voice — creating a seamless workflow from input → insight → output. Rather than another point solution for capture, writing, or scheduling, Orbitwell is designed to be the system of record for modern content creation across individuals and teams.

The venture begins with an initial product, real users, and immediate feedback loops to accelerate iteration and go-to-market. We are now seeking a founder to lead the venture from here.

Market Context
  • Content has become a primary distribution channel for founders, operators, marketers, and creators across LinkedIn, X, and newsletters
  • Professionals spend 5–10+ hours per week consuming fragmented information with no system to convert input into structured insights and consistent output
  • High-performing creators publish 3–7x per week with structured workflows, while most professionals lack a repeatable system for insight → content
  • Adjacent categories (social listening, creator tools, AI writing) exceed $10B+ and continue to grow, with clear willingness to pay across Notion, Substack, Hootsuite, and Jasper
  • Expansion path runs from individual creators to teams to enterprise content workflows
About FutureSight

FutureSight is a leading venture builder that co-creates world-class software companies with values-driven entrepreneurs from inception to exit. We are a team of founders, operators and designers with experience successfully bringing software to market at scale.

You’ll co-create with a proven studio team, led by John Carbrey (4x entrepreneur, $100M ARR), Krista LaRiviere (3x exited, E&Y Top Women Entrepreneur), Alan Smith (Strategyzer co-founder, $120M in products built), Prathna Ramesh (former MD of Maple Leaf Angels, $275M in follow-on capital), and Johnny Tong (0-to-1 builder, acquired by SAP and Stripe) bring a rare combination of operator exits, institutional investing, and AI product depth.

The Partnership
  • Founder equity with meaningful ownership from inception
  • Pre-seed capital committed by FutureSight for early hires and MVP development, with potential for follow-on funding
  • Venture building resources, including embedded design, engineering, growth, and fundraising support from day one
  • Investor and advisor network across vertical AI and early-stage capital markets
  • A true co-creation model in which you operate as CEO with FutureSight's cross-functional team as your partner
What you'll own

As Co-Founder & CEO, you will set the venture's direction and lead its execution.

  • Strategy — Define the ICP wedge (creators vs. teams vs. agencies), pricing model, and product positioning
  • Customer Development — Expand from internal design partners to external users (creators, teams, agencies), validate retention and willingness to pay, and build the go-to-market motion through creator-led distribution
  • Product — Partner with the FutureSight product and engineering team to ship V1 and iterate on user feedback, with a focus on extraction quality, clustering relevance, and draft usefulness
  • Capital — Lead the seed raise, supported by FutureSight's network and traction
  • Team — Recruit and lead the founding team, and establish the cultural foundation of the company
Co-Founder Profile
  • Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company
  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer engagement
  • Fundraising fluency, with the ability to develop investor narratives and close capital
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent
  • Clear-eyed understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company
  • Direct exposure to the creator economy, marketing tech, social platforms, or knowledge work tooling, with familiarity in AI agents/LLMs
How to Apply

Please submit your resume, LinkedIn profile, and a brief note on why this venture aligns with your goals as a founder. We will move quickly for the right candidate.

FutureSight is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and experiences.
