Job description

Company Description
Club Kuma is a creative studio that collaborates with clients and creators to brand, design, and manufacture award-winning hero products.
Our latest in-house project is Frankly (smellfrankly.com), a bold fragrance brand built around story-driven scents and visual storytelling that feels more edible than polished. We create elevated fragrances at an accessible price, each one designed to spark emotion and leave an impression.
We're looking for a creative, detail-obsessed Jr. Graphic Designer & Social Media Creator Intern to help bring our visual identity to life across social. This role blends scroll-stopping design with original content creation, all in service of a brand voice that's authentic, introspective, and confidently offbeat.
Job Description
What You'll Do:
  • Design social-first graphics and layouts for Instagram, TikTok, email, and web (including carousels, Reels covers, motion graphics, moodboards, and more).
  • Concept and create engaging short-form video and visual content that reflects Frankly's cinematic, candid, and a little-chaotic aesthetic.
  • Collaborate with the team to shape creative direction for upcoming campaigns and product drops-helping refine brand visuals and develop art-forward, trend-savvy executions.
  • Design and build branded email assets for campaigns, flows, and product drops; experience with Klaviyo or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Capture and edit behind-the-scenes content, product imagery, and lifestyle shots; photography knowledge or strong visual instincts are highly valued.
  • Assist in designing assets for paid ads, influencer kits, and experiential moments.
  • Stay on top of social trends, graphic styles, type treatments, and cultural shifts-bringing fresh, stylish ideas to the table weekly.
  • Support content planning, scheduling, and reporting as needed.

Qualifications
What We're looking For:
  • Prefer a bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator); bonus points for After Effects, Lightroom, or CapCut experience.
  • A strong design sensibility-eye for color, typography, layout, and aesthetic storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of email marketing and layout best practices (Klaviyo experience is a plus).
  • Passion for visual culture, social media, beauty, and branding.
  • Basic photography knowledge or a passion for capturing content.
  • Comfortable filming/editing casual video content and working with a mix of still and motion.
  • A self-starter mindset with an ability to take creative feedback and iterate quickly.

Perks:
  • Hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing fragrance brand.
  • Opportunity to build a strong portfolio of elevated, story-driven content.
  • Free fragrances and exclusive brand perks.

How to Apply:
Submit your resume, a short cover letter, and a portfolio of your work. Examples of your social media content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, or similar) are a big plus. Let us know what excites you about storytelling through scent and how your creativity can help bring Frankly to life!
We offer a great benefits package including PTO, holidays and 401K. Compensation based on experience: $25-$28 per hour
