Job description

The Digital Content Writer is responsible for executing digital content strategies to drive engagement, brand awareness, retention, and conversion for agency clients. This role crafts effective, SEO and AI search optimized and branded content for websites, blogs, email campaigns and other digital sources. The writer develops digital content and works closely with account service, content strategists, creative teams, and clients to ensure content resonates with target audiences and delivers on client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Management
    • Creating, editing, and optimizing content for multiple digital platforms, including email, website copy, blog posts and more, ensuring alignment with best practices in SEO, AI search, and email marketing.
    • Translating complex research, data, and technical source material into clear, accurate, long-form content that resonates with target audiences.
    • Collaborating on content calendars and topic ideation for email, website content and blog posts.
    • Collaborating with the creative team to ensure emails, website content and other digital assets are visually appealing and on-brand.
    • Maintaining the brand voice and tone for assigned clients and quickly adapting to new clients' voices when needed.
    • Entering and formatting blog posts, landing pages, and other website content in CMS (e.g., WordPress, Sanity)
  • Strategy Support
    • Leveraging AI tools to streamline digital content development, improve performance, and enhance output.
    • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, including SEO, AI search, and email marketing, to keep Meyocks and our clients ahead of the curve.
  • Additional responsibilities and supporting tasks as necessary.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of current email, SEO, and AI search best practices, with the ability to translate that knowledge into well-crafted content tailored to each medium.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and present to clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and research skills, especially when writing for regulated industries such as healthcare and financial services.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Must be a self-starter, quick learner, intuitive and proactive.
