Digital Content Developer

What You Will Be Doing:

The Digital Content Developer is responsible for creating and deploying content for all digital marketing channels and social media sites for the Shelter and AmShield brands. The primary goal of this position is to produce engaging content supporting the corporate brands and the agent distribution channel. In addition to creating and deployment of digital marketing and social media content, this position serves as part of the brand protection and response team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, copy editing and proofreading skills as well as graphic development capabilities. Experience with video production is beneficial.

  • Ability to collaborate with team members, maintaining a self-starting nature and a positive attitude.

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism or equivalent work experience.

  • Background in content marketing, digital marketing or social media is preferred.

  • Proven ability to prioritize a fast-paced workload while meeting deadlines with accuracy and minimum supervision.

  • Experience with Adobe products including InDesign and Photoshop is desired. Knowledge of content management systems, internet monitoring tools, Google Analytics and project management software is beneficial.

  • Experience developing marketing materials/messaging in a highly regulated industry desired.

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
