Welcome to Advance Plumbing & Heating Supply Company, a fourth-generation family owned and operated business, started in 1920. The company's original location was at 2984 Grand River Ave. in Detroit, across from the Motor City Casino. On October 31st, 2016 we moved to our new location at 150 Parsons St. in Midtown Detroit. The new state-of-the-art location features the City of Detroit's first ever Decorative Plumbing Showroom which opened in winter of 2018.


In 1990, with a solid reputation for excellence and an expanding market, Advance opened up a second location in Walled Lake, Michigan which features a state-of-the-art 5,000-square foot decorative plumbing showroom and an outstanding plumbing & heating parts counter.


What Youโ€™ll Do:


The Social Media Content Creator is a talented and creative individual with a passion for marketing, strategy, and planning. The responsibilities include the management of social media accounts and creating video campaigns. This individual will be responsible for delivering customer experience to the public, customers through the usage of various marketing mechanisms.


Some Duties May Include:

  • Manage and run all social media campaigns, including copywriting, asset coordination, QA, and scheduling.
  • Build effective target audiences and segments to drive engagement and revenue performance.
  • Provide regular performance reports that include clicks, views, conversions, revenue, revenue lift, unsubscribes, etc.
  • Constantly look for new ways to improve overall programs through new technology, tools, partners, trends, and best practices.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the policy for each community.

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

  • Proven experience managing social media marketing programs.
  • Excellent video editing and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO, SEM, and video content creation.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, etc.
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, and CRO.
  • Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of latest digital marketing trends and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Familiarity with plumbing/HVAC terminology and concepts (previous work experience in the industry is a plus)
