Develop and maintain assigned strategic account customer relationships, utilizing TTI’s products and services to maximize sales, gross profit, and return on investment/assets. Develop the corporate strategy for the strategic accounts and work closely with the sales branches to position TTI as the preferred supplier.

Our Strategic Accounts Managers Team:

  • Develop business strategies for assigned accounts by identifying status and focus of the customer, along with potential avenues for account growth. Success is measured by increased sales/meeting sales objectives.
  • Develop and coordinate customer corporate-to-corporate reviews by interfacing with the customer and TTI management to arrange agenda/itinerary content, creating a productive and well-prepared information exchange.
  • Create formal sales and marketing presentations by utilizing technical resources and corporate information for consistent company message.
  • Assist the Vice President of Strategic Sales with the annual budgeting process by giving input and projections on cost and expenses forecasted for the upcoming fiscal year.
  • Responsible for developing relationships with assigned accounts which will result in knowledge of competitive intelligence and “most favored” competitive positioning.
  • Responsible for initiating, expanding and renewing product pricing agreements and achievement of incremental profitability through additional negotiation of manufacturer’s award of contract.
  • Maintain information about customer inventory and buying processes by keeping account information in the database timely, resulting in accurate data for trend analysis.
  • Reviews financial results and recommends adjustments to achieve growth and profit objectives.
  • Assist in the development and support of Strategic Programs (MRP1/AIM) in order to enhance TTI’s position within assigned accounts.
  • Support TTI dedicated field operations by having team involvement and coordination producing quality work with seamless communication and highest customer service.
  • Share the vision of TTI by upholding the mission and ethical business standards in every transaction.
  • Foster customer good will/relationship development by hosting customer visits and tours to corporate facilities.
  • Identify trends and potential concerns with assigned accounts by pursuing resolution with appropriate personnel resulting in quick issue resolution and proactive customer service.
  • Maintains market awareness on competitor activities, industry tends and new concepts by reading industry periodicals, networking, attending periodic update training events and trade shows which will ensure that the manager is adding value and is current on industry knowledge to aid in making informed decisions.
  • Participates in the TTI Total Quality Program by driving the importance of quality, ensuring the branch is following the defined processes, and identifying the areas of process improvement.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and five to seven years’ experience in electronics distribution or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
