Description:Digital Content Associate

Position Overview:

The Bulls are seeking a self-starter who is organized and committed to the position of Seasonal Content Associate - Photo Editor. In this role, you will work with the Bulls Content team, assisting primarily with the team’s photography efforts. This role will assist with editing, shooting, archiving and distribution of photography throughout the season, working with a team of photographers to capture the story of the Bulls business and make assets available for use. You will also assist in the day-to-day management of Bulls digital archive, including helping to progress the organization and digitization of the analogue photography archive.


This role will participate in the Bulls Rookie Program and is scheduled to start in September 2026 and continue until the conclusion of the 26-27 season.


Responsibilities:

As the Digital Content Associate, you will work closely with our entire content team along with various other internal teams such as Game Entertainment, Basketball Operations and Corporate Partnerships to help edit, archive and distribute photography content from the Chicago Bulls.


More specifically, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead editing of photography at moments of content capture throughout the season including but not limited to media days, retail shoots, and one off content capture requests.
  • Photography and cell phone content capture at games and local events in Chicago, including but not limited to brand activations and events with the Bulls community partners.
  • Assist with creating, editing and distributing content leading up to, during, and after games including content associated with Bulls partners.
  • Organize and populate the Bulls content library in a way that makes it easy to pull and create content for both branded and organic content.
  • Lead the physical organization and digitization of our analogue historical archive.
  • Make creative recommendations for content being served across the internet within and outside of brainstorm sessions.
  • Assist in categorizing published content to aid reporting and understanding of Bulls digital audiences.
  • Support Windy City Bulls content creation on occasion, working to improve digital asset management within a key part of the Bulls business.
  • Work alongside the content team, in varying roles, throughout the season including weekends.


Qualifications:

  • Experience shooting and editing sports and event photography
  • Experience with digital asset management systems such as Photoshelter
  • Understanding of Adobe suite or equivalent editing software
  • Attention to detail and strong timely execution ability
  • Understands social media and able to recognize trends across different platforms
  • News-oriented approach to content that prioritizes timeliness in a dynamic environment
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal)
  • Highly organized and strong time management abilities
  • Initiative and dedication to challenge self and continually strive for improvement


Compensation & Benefits:

This role pays $20/hour and is eligible to earn overtime pay. The Chicago Bulls offer a relocation stipend for any candidates making a move to the state of Illinois. This role requires flexible work hours and may include work outside of normal office hours during the business week and on weekends. Full-time remote work is not an option for this role and interested applicants should be currently located in or prepared to move to the Chicagoland area.
