Fabricator / Welder

We are currently searching for a full-time Fabricator for our maintenance welding shop to work alongside 2 other fabricators.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding and electrical repair of containers, compactors, carts, trailers, etc.
  • Weld steel components, along with replacing hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and fittings
  • Cut steel and fabricate steel components specifically for compactors
  • Prepare containers to be sand blasted and painted
  • Assist the Manager with inventory control on all PWS, Inc. equipment at storage lots e.g., unload steel deliveries
  • Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate and OSHA standards

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in the necessary welding techniques
  • Prior compactor maintenance experience is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
  • Wisconsin Drivers License is required (CDL A or B is helpful, but not required)
