Job Summary
Works under direct supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs minor repairs and limited preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned compactors and containers.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Performs minor repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
  • Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
  • Assists in the repair and adjustment of compactors and containers.
  • Washes compactors and containers.
  • Conducts safety checks on compactors and containers.
  • Assists senior technicians in the completion of project work.
  • Performs service calls for emergency breakdown.
  • Performs other maintenance related work as required.
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.


III. Qualifications 
A. Required Qualifications 
 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen and DOT physical.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Valid Driver's license and must have a clean driving record. Upon Hire

Pay : The expected base pay range for this on-site position is $25.67. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location
