Job description


Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for picker-packer positions at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. These are temp-to-hire positions.
The first shift is 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $19.75 an hour.
The second shift is 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $21.75 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize and arrange pick list based on commitment level to customers
  • Use RF scanners accurately to pick items and quantities
  • While packing confirm picked and package items in appropriate shipping container
  • Follow all special instructions on pick list
  • Operate shipping computer
  • Assist in warehouse functions such as cycle counts and product placement
  • Perform administrative work such as data entry, filing, order printing, label creation, order confirmation and tracking
  • Operate material handling equipment

Job Requirements:
  • Shipping experience
  • Experience using material handling equipment
  • Average manual dexterity
  • Able to handle physical aspects of job, including fast-paced work and moderate to heavy lifting
  • Speak, read and write English
  • Able to use computers and other electronic interface equipment, such as scan guns
  • Able to work flexible hours and overtime, if needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass pre-employment screenings
