Job description

CDL Class B - Container Delivery Driver

Reports To: Operations Manager

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a container hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home.. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Safely operate around 150 miles of home
  • Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • Maneuver trucks and containers into loading or unloading positions
  • Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
  • Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Shift/Schedule:

  • Home Daily
  • Monday-Friday
  • Additional hours may be needed
  • Shift is 10-12 Hours

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 year of verifiable Class B driving experience
  • No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years
  • CDL Class A/B
