Job description

Hourly Rate: $20.72
DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
Moving finished goods in and out of assigned locations by using powered industrial lifts, RF Scanners and other general warehouse equipment to fulfill customer orders and business needs
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
• Operate a forklift and/or a vertical lift to perform general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading finished goods to and from containers, trailers and racked locations
• Use RF Scanner to accurately document product movement to ensure inventory accuracy
• Perform final review on all shipments and orders prior to loading to ensure they are accurate and meet the expectations of the customers
• Apply proper shipping labels and additional banding/packaging as required before product is loaded onto trailers/containers
• Assist in manual loading and unloading of trailers/containers
• Promptly notify management of any damaged or mislabeled product, freight or equipment
• Conduct physical warehouse inventory as needed
• Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
• Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
• Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
• Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
• Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
• Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Must be a friendly team player, detail-oriented, and honest
Must have the ability to:
• Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
• Be flexible with working hours based upon business needs
• Stand/walk/bend throughout workday
• Lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 80 lbs
Must have:
• Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
• A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
• Good verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Basic working knowledge of warehousing/distribution standard concepts, practices, and procedures preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• At least 6 months of powered industrial truck operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment*
*Warehouse environment has moderate forklift traffic, and may be cool in the winter and hot in the summer
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• At least 1 year of experience using RF scanners to properly and accurately document materials or products preferred
• Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
PREFERRED EDUCATION
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
