3 Key Consulting is hiring an Engineer for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.
Job Description:
Onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA. at least 2x/ week. Candidate must be within commutable distance and must be able to come on site 5 days a week if needed.
Bippharm or Biotech experience and/or Equipment Validation experience within another industry. Position is split between lab and office.
  • Position involves support of senior staff in the initiation, design, and delivery of projects, particularly for container closure integrity testing (CCIT) related scope.
  • Employ basic engineering skills and practices to gather user requirements and translate them into technical documentation for execution.
  • Assist with project definition by performing engineering studies and assessment for CCIT system installations.
  • Perform field evaluations of existing systems and provide engineering design recommendations and support development of CCIT technologies.
  • Equipment qualification- Equipment validation is a highly desired skillset. Will be working with other associates on testing and conducting testing themselves.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Day to day activities will include supporting development of technical documentation related to CCI testing, execution of protocols to support development, writing of technical documentation to support findings and results. Heavy on documentation and manual disassembly role. Additional activities will include:
  • Documentation writing (procedures, technical assessments, engineering drawings, etc)
  • Solid modeling (fixture development)
  • Meetings
  • Testing
  • Device Disassembly

Basic Qualifications:
Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience
Red Flags:
  • Less than a bachelors degree
  • A non-STEM bachelors degree
  • No work experience (internship okay)
