We provide excellent customer service to local hospitals and healthcare professionals and represent one of the most prominent companies in the Medical Waste Industry. As a Material Handler I, you will play a critical role in supporting daily waste processing operations by safely moving materials, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with core plant functions. This role includes paid training, company-provided uniforms, leading health benefits, tuition reimbursement, vacation/PTO after 90 days, Stay-On bonus, making this a strong opportunity to grow within an essential, mission-driven industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload autoclave carts and box waste safely and efficiently.
  • Move carts through tipping and cart washing equipment.
  • Clean containers and equipment using pressure washing tools.
  • Inspect carts and containers for cleanliness and damage.
  • Weigh box waste and accurately record processing information.
  • Bale cardboard and assist with loading trailers for shipment.
  • Keep work areas, unloading zones, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Perform general housekeeping and facility cleanup tasks.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Track and document daily processing and production volumes.
  • Work closely with team members to support daily operations.
  • Assist with process improvements and special projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 0-2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, sanitation, or labor experience preferred.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and push/pull loads up to 200 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including overtime and weekends as needed.
