Job Description

Position Details:

  • Picking up staged International containers from the Yard and deliver them to the customer in Pleasant Prairie, WI or Waukegan, IL
  • Two turns from Joliet, to Pleasant Prairie, WI, or Waukegan, IL will be required each day.
  • Some pick ups will be from Chicagoland rail yards.
  • If no one is on site for delivery at the customer, unattended drop and hooks will be allowed with permission from management.
  • Completing pre trip and post trips on all containers and chassis to make sure they are ready for delivery
  • Manager will be on site at night if there are any issues

Special Requirements:

  • Drivers may be working and maneuvering through the rail yard
  • Making sure we are following customer protocol for dropping containers and checking in with them on all deliveries

Truck Info:

  • Automatics (Freightliner & International)
  • Truck will be left at the terminal
  • Trucks are slip-seated
