Architect manager works within architecture team on Ascend platform architecture and design. In their role, this individual will engage with MF and Global Technology (DTech/ITS) teams to architect product capabilities to ensure the global platform meets member firm business needs. The architect manager also collaborates with technical teams on integration framework to enable integration with other Deloitte assets, tools, and 3rd party solutions with the platform. With deep technical and hands on architecture experience in cloud and containerization-based architectures, AI and LLMs, and Agentic AI, the architect will shape the architecture and design of the platform that meets current and future business needs.
- Works with the lead Global Platform Architect for the Ascend Integration Gateway
- Engage with US platform and engineering foundations team, technical product, and platform architecture teams on architecture and design choices including assessment of 3rd party products and services.
- Engage with MF technical SMEs to understand MF specific requirements to ensure platform adheres to MF data privacy, regulatory, and client needs.
- Collaborates with platform architecture team to shape the future evolution of platform design that meets MF globalization needs
- As a technical SME, proactively engages with engineering teams to provide technical oversight that aligns with architecture principles and design
- Engages with DTech on architecture reviews and global technology standards to ensure platform conforms to published standards; engages with Cyber, MF ITS, and other cross-functional stakeholders during the SSDLC phase as required.

- Hands-on experience architecting and designing enterprise platforms on major cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience with modern architecture principles including cloud-native 12-Factor methodologies, microservices, event-driven distributed architectures, messaging platforms, containerization, and iPaaS solutions.
- Expertise in defining and designing systems adhering to non-functional requirements including scalability, availability, resiliency, performance, observability, and security. Proven ability to lead and participate in architecture reviews, design sessions and technology evaluations.
- Experience applying enterprise security and identity frameworks including IAM, data protection, AI-specific security guidelines, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices.
- Hands-on experience in AI software development, including designing, building, and integrating AI-enabled applications using agentic orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Azure AI Foundry; implementing RAG patterns, LLM integrations, MCP and A2A protocols; developing Python-based AI services and libraries; and applying AI observability practices with tools such as LangSmith.
- Experience integrating and architecting solutions leveraging modern data and analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Cosmos DB, Power BI, Tableau, including AI platform components such as vector databases.
- Experience with AI governance, regulatory frameworks, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies, including SAFe and Agile.
- Experience with programming languages, IDEs, and frameworks, including .NET, C++, C#, JavaScript, Python, React, Angular, and AI-assisted programming tools such as Cursor and Claude.
- Ability to engage with teams and stakeholders across US, EMEA, and APAC time zones.
- Degree in engineering or a STEM field, with 5+ years of progressive experience architecting and deploying enterprise-scale technology projects.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
