Your Role at KIK

The Blow Mold Packer is responsible for inspecting and packing plastic bottles, monitoring automated equipment to prevent jams, and reporting any defects or machine issues. The role supports smooth production flow by keeping lines clear, labeling finished goods accurately, assisting with inventory counts, and ensuring materials and equipment are ready for each shift.

With a competitive pay rate of $18.00 hour, this position offers the chance to develop your career while working 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lifts and transports bundles of corrugated bulk containers filled with plastic bottles, assembles them into grouped boxes, and secures them with twine.
  • Inspects plastic bottles for defects such as holes, surface lines, or water spots, and packs all approved bottles into boxes.
  • Monitors automated machinery to prevent operational jams.
  • Notifies the supervisor of any defective bottles or equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensures conveyor belts remain clear of excess bottles.
  • Operates the bagger machine as required.
  • Alerts appropriate personnel when additional raw materials are needed.
  • Tracks the number of bottles produced during each shift.
  • Accurately labels boxes or bags with the correct date and shift identification, following designated color-coding requirements.
  • Supports departmental inventory activities and performs routine record-keeping tasks.
