Your Role at KIK

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse, material handling, and logistics planning activities within the manufacturing plant. This role ensures the accurate and efficient movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods while optimizing inventory accuracy, logistics performance, and service to customers. The position also drives continuous improvement in warehouse operations, transportation efficiency, and overall supply chain effectiveness.

What You'll Be Doing

Warehouse and Logistics Operations

  • Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipment of finished goods.
  • Manage accurate inventories to meet customer demand, ensuring all warehouse-related entries are timely and accurate within the ERP system.
  • Responsible for the timely delivery of materials, freight, and finished goods.
  • Oversee maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and food safety (GMP) regulations.
  • Implement and train employees on proper safety, shipping, and handling procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of and compliance with all applicable government and company regulations.
  • Responsible for minimizing operating expenses while maintaining high performance and service levels.

Transportation & Performance Management

  • Drive improvements in logistics performance metrics (e.g., On-Time Ship, Primary Tender Acceptance) through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Develop and maintain transportation strategies to optimize freight costs and ensure on-time delivery to customers and internal sites.

Leadership & People Development

  • Provide supervisory direction for warehouse and logistics personnel including training, staffing, performance management, and discipline.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to warehouse productivity, cost, accuracy, and service.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements across warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics systems.
  • Support implementation and effective use of ERP/WMS systems (JD Edwards or SAP preferred).
  • Partner with key functional areas to improve operational efficiency and overall customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required with a major in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role, ideally in a manufacturing or CPG environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems - JD Edwards or SAP preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and food safety regulations.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $110,000 - $120,000 plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus or commission target. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including your relevant skills and experience.
