Rockland Trust is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Operations Collateral Documentation & Imaging Specialist to join our collaborative Loan Operations team. In this role, you will support critical collateral documentation and imaging functions across consumer and commercial loan portfolios, helping ensure loan records are accurate, compliant, and efficiently maintained throughout their lifecycle. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of collateral types, including commercial real estate, mortgage, vehicle title, and UCC-related documentation. The ideal candidate enjoys research, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and customer service are essential to success

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage collateral-related activities for consumer and commercial loan portfolios while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and process loan discharges, including complex commercial real estate collateral releases.
  • Review and process collateral maintenance requests, partial releases, and customer inquiries.
  • Monitor and maintain UCC filings, vehicle titles, mortgage discharges, and other collateral records through vendor and internal systems.
  • Support document imaging functions, including scanning, filing, workflow monitoring, and records retention.
  • Collaborate with lending, operations, and other business partners to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and maintain high standards for quality, service, and risk management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with loan documentation, collateral administration, title processing, paralegal work, or banking operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of consumer, mortgage, home equity, and commercial loan documentation preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; FIS Core Banking experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
