Paralegal - Consumer Class Action

You will work side by side on a team of dynamic, collaborative, and client-focused professionals who are committed to delivering on our founding core values: Excellence, Teamwork, and Integrity.
The Opportunity
As our Paralegal in our Consumer Class Action Department, you will have the opportunity to manage state and federal court filings, docket calendar, handle discovery, and coordinate depositions for consumer class action and complex litigation cases.
Accountable for
  • Propound and respond to discovery.
  • Calendar and manage court deadlines.
  • Prepare documents for filing in both state and federal court.
  • Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel in an effective and courteous manner.
  • Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits.
  • Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3years of experience in class action law and filing in state and federal court.
  • Advanced knowledge of filing procedures, including e-filing.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to act independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Litify or Salesforce experience and bilingual in Spanish huge plus.
  • Type at least 40 WPM.

Compensation
  • $75,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
