Job description

The Tennessee Titans are looking for an inquisitive, highly analytical, and detail-oriented Manager of Consumer Insights. This role will be the organization's champion for understanding our fans - combining qualitative and quantitative inputs to craft clear narratives and recommendations that influence decision-making across the business.
The Manager of Consumer Insights will report to the Vice President of Marketing - Advertising & Analytics and will be responsible for conducting market research as well as analyzing fan and customer data with the purpose of identifying actionable insights used to drive customer retention, fan avidity, and brand growth.
• Lead the development of clear, actionable insights that inform marketing, ticketing, and brand strategy - turning research and data into compelling stories that influence decisions.
• Serve as the voice of the fan by analyzing sentiment, behavior, motivations, and trends across surveys, first-party data, digital engagement, and broader market research.
• Conduct audience analysis and profiling to deepen the organization's understanding of key fan segments and growth opportunities.
• Translate audience insights into strategic recommendations that support campaign targeting, creative development, and customer journey optimization.
• Help shape testing strategy and other experiments to optimize conversion funnels, landing pages and personalization in marketing campaigns.
• Lead internal market research efforts that surface opportunities for fan growth and brand differentiation.
• Assist in preparing pitches for the research and strategic planning projects.
• Assist in preparing sales pitches for the marketing and sponsorship sales teams.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education
• Bachelor's degree with a consistent track record of professional and personal achievement
Experience
• 5+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge in consumer insights, digital marketing analytics or a similar role, with a track record of driving data-based improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization.
• Detailed understanding of consumer behavior and marketing analytics with the ability to influence business or marketing strategy.
• Familiarity with SQL or similar querying tools; ability to work closely with analytics partners to access and interpret data.
• High level of problem-solving ability, thinks creatively and utilizes all available resources to deliver quality analysis and actionable insights.
• Self-starter and strategic thinker with superior verbal, written, presentation, organizational and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to adapt messaging to suit multiple audiences from highly technical functions to non-technical marketing and front office executives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail, excellent prioritization skills, and a hands-on approach to managing multiple projects.
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
• A proven track record in developing relationships with external vendors and internal teams.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to independently manage multiple projects, vendors, and initiatives simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
