About the Role
Papa Consumer is poised to become Papa's next major growth engine, expanding our proven enterprise model directly to consumers. We're leveraging our nationwide supply network to serve tens of millions of consumers who need support and are willing to pay out of pocket. With early traction established, we're looking for an entrepreneurial General Manager to scale the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the GM will lead growth, marketing, and operations partnering closely with the technology teams to build the product needed to scale.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the Consumer Business: Lead day-to-day strategy and execution across growth, marketing, and operations, with accountability for overall business performance.
  • Executive Leadership: Partner closely with the CEO and executive team on Consumer strategy, performance, and key decisions; represent the business in Board discussions as needed.
  • Drive Growth & Marketing: Own customer acquisition across paid media, in-house marketing, and local referral/community channels; rapidly test, learn, and optimize channel performance while developing new strategies and channels to accelerate growth.
  • Lead Consumer Operations: Oversee activation, inbound support, and visit success, building scalable processes that deliver a strong customer experience.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Serve as the central program leader across Consumer workstreams, translating strategy into clear priorities, owners, milestones, and execution.
  • Own Analytics: Build and use dashboards, funnel metrics, and operating KPIs to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and drive decisions.
  • Shape Product: Translate business and customer needs into technology requirements and relative priorities, partnering with Product, Engineering and Design to build the technology needed to scale.
  • Oversee & Build the Team: Lead the existing ~10-person Consumer team and evolve the organization and capabilities as the business scales.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience across general management, marketing, growth, operations, business operations, and/or related leadership roles.
  • 0→1 mindset with a track record of building in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling a consumer business, with strong command of customer acquisition, growth marketing, funnel optimization, and unit economics (e.g., CAC, conversion, retention).
  • Experience leading multiple cross-functional areas and driving execution across growth, marketing, operations, analytics, and technology.
  • Track record of building and scaling new businesses, products, or service lines in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Strategic operator who can set direction while rolling up their sleeves to drive execution.
  • Strong people leader with experience building, developing, and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with a track record of using data to make decisions and drive business performance.
  • Strong executive communicator and collaborator, comfortable partnering with senior leadership and presenting to executives and Boards.
  • Consumer marketplace or services experience preferred.
