Purpose of Role
This role is equal parts strategist, operator, analyst, and storyteller. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, the Growth Marketing Manager role is responsible for leading Consuela's customer acquisition ecosystem across paid, earned, and organic channels with a focus on driving new-to-brand customer growth. This individual contributor role owns the development of insight-driven acquisition strategies designed to expand awareness, deepen audience engagement, and deliver measurable business impact across our omnichannel business.
The ideal candidate is deeply curious about consumer behavior and energized by identifying opportunities to reach new audiences in thoughtful, creative, and performance-driven ways. They understand how full-funnel marketing ecosystems work together and are equally comfortable analyzing performance data, collaborating with agency partners, building audience strategies, and refining campaign execution through continuous optimization.
This role partners closely with Marketing Strategy, Brand Creative, Digital Commerce, Retail, Analytics, and external agency partners to ensure acquisition strategies are aligned with the Consuela brand experience while delivering strong business outcomes.
This role is based onsite in Austin, Texas. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Growth & Acquisition Strategy
  • Develop and lead full-funnel acquisition marketing strategies focused on driving new-to-file customer growth across paid, earned, and organic channels
  • Build audience-first marketing strategies rooted in consumer insights, behavioral trends, and brand opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to grow awareness and penetration within key target consumer segments
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure acquisition efforts align with broader brand, product, retail, and eCommerce priorities
  • Support annual and seasonal marketing planning with channel strategies, forecasting, and performance expectations
Paid Media & Performance Marketing
  • Lead paid media strategy development across channels including paid social, search, display, video, affiliate, and emerging platforms
  • Partner with external agency teams to execute campaigns, optimize performance, and improve efficiency across the marketing funnel
  • Monitor campaign pacing, audience performance, attribution, ROAS, CAC, and other acquisition KPIs
  • Continuously test, learn, and iterate creative, targeting, messaging, and channel strategies to improve performance
  • Evaluate and recommend new acquisition opportunities, platforms, partnerships, and growth channels
Audience Insights & Consumer Understanding
  • Lead audience research and consumer segmentation initiatives to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends
  • Translate consumer insights into actionable acquisition strategies and campaign recommendations
  • Analyze customer behavior, conversion trends, and media performance to inform optimization decisions
  • Partner with analytics and CRM teams to better understand customer journeys and lifecycle performance
Earned & Organic Growth
  • Collaborate with PR and external agency partners to support earned media strategies that increase brand visibility and audience reach
  • Partner with Social Media, Brand, and Creative teams to align acquisition efforts with organic storytelling and content strategies
  • Support integrated campaign planning to ensure cohesive messaging across channels and touchpoints
Reporting & Optimization
  • Develop recurring performance reporting and actionable insights for leadership and key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency, channel effectiveness, and overall marketing performance
  • Use data and business context to make strategic recommendations and influence marketing priorities
  • Maintain strong operational rigor across campaign planning, timelines, deliverables, and performance tracking

Requirements
What You Bring to the Role
  • 5-8 years of experience in growth marketing, acquisition marketing, or performance marketing within an omnichannel retail or lifestyle brand environment
  • Proven track record of driving measurable new customer acquisition growth
  • Experience developing and optimizing full-funnel marketing strategies to create a brand-to-consumer connections ecosystem
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action
  • Experience managing external agency partners across paid media and/or public relations
  • Strong understanding of customer acquisition metrics including CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, attribution, LTV, and funnel performance
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with evolving priorities
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Passion for brand storytelling, consumer behavior, art, fashion, and retail experiences
