Are you passionate about understanding travelers and using research and insights to help build great brands? The Traveler Research & Insights team at Expedia Group creates and delivers traveler-centered data that helps teams make better brand, marketing, and communications decisions. The team is seeking a Consumer Insights Manager who will contribute to building traveler-centric brands. This role is focused on supporting our Global Brand Health Tracking program. This program is a top priority for the Marketing organization as its key to informing strategy for our three key brands: Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo.

The Brand Health Tracking program has high visibility across the organization, so this person will work with cross-functional partners of all levels and contribute to impactful decisions being made with the data.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead day-to-day Global Brand Health Tracking operations, including questionnaire updates, fieldwork and dashboard monitoring, reporting outputs and stakeholder support

  • Support reporting production across recurring deliverables and ad hoc requests, helping partners access, and interpret learnings effectively.

  • Partner with Analytics teams to measure impact of marketing campaigns and long-term brand building efforts

  • Manage external research vendors and work to foster long-term partnerships

  • Pilot innovative approaches to ensure our measurement programs are best in class and leverage innovative thinking

  • Oversee Tableau dashboard refreshes and data integrity, partnering with data visualization and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Translate raw survey data into clear, concise key takeaways and executive-ready insights

Experience and qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or analytics, with hands-on involvement in brand health tracking or recurring measurement programs

  • Experience supporting recurring research, tracking, or measurement programs with strong attention to operational detail and executional rigor with excellent organization skills

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, maintain documentation, and consistently deliver against deadlines

  • Hands-on experience working with survey data outputs, crosstabs, and raw datasets, with the ability to independently pull data and derive insights

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to respond to requests clearly, efficiently, and professionally

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs and deliverables

  • Ability to balance recurring program responsibilities with high-volume ad hoc requests in a fast-paced environment

  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to improve processes and create structure for recurring requests and deliverables

  • Ability to translate complex data and research learnings into clear, engaging, and actionable narratives for diverse audiences, including key stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Experience using data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL as well as crosstab programs preferred

  • Solid understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau, including dashboard review, validation, or updates

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00.
